HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
Spencer and I met at Sloss Fest in 2018 through a mutual friend, and we hit it off right away.
THE PROPOSAL
Spencer decided to propose to me in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, so as to include my grandparents, who live in that area. We had been hiking all day, and he waited until we were on the last hike of the day to propose to me at Clingmans Dome around sunset.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
I loved my wedding dress! I wanted something unique and vintage looking. I went to The White Room, thinking I was going to choose a boho lace gown. Instead, I fell in love with my dress the minute we saw it. My mom was the person who encouraged me to try it on, and that definitely will be a memory I will always cherish.
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
Pick a couple of elements that you feel are “must-haves’ in your wedding (think of your favorite ideas) and then be flexible about the rest. I had an amazing planner and a concept of what I wanted. My wedding turned out better than I could have ever dreamed it would. My big focuses were the band, disco ball decor, boho flowers and my amazing photographer.
