HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We are high school sweethearts. We met at Mountain Brook High School and continued dating through our college years at the University of Alabama.
THE PROPOSAL
One of our first dates was at Joseph’s family’s farm. We went there for dinner one night, and he proposed in front of the barn, which was the place where we took one of our first pictures together.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
I chose a wedding dress that in my opinion was very different than the norm. I wanted something that felt organic since the wedding was outside and at the lake. I coordinated many of my wedding’s details to the pattern of my dress!
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
Don’t stress if something small goes wrong. It will be okay! No one really notices things that may go wrong besides you. Focus on the reason why you’re getting married instead.
