HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We went to the same school from Mother’s Day Out all the way through college. We basically lived parallel lives but did not run in the same circles. It wasn’t until several years post-grad that we reconnected at a tailgate party at our alma mater, Auburn University. We immediately started dating afterwards. The rest is history!
THE PROPOSAL
We live in Crestline Park. He had my friend call me, pretending to panic and say her dogs had gotten out. She asked if I could run to the park and see if they were there. I love dogs and would do anything for a dog, ha! I ran out to the park and found a full picnic had been set up. Trey got down on one knee in the park where we had made so many memories with our dog, Stent. I screamed and didn’t even let him get the words out before I said enthusiastically, “Yes!”
PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE
We prepared for marriage by attending premarital counseling through our church, Redeemer Community Church. Dwight Castle was our officiant, and he walked us through a premarital book.

Our first look calmed both of our nerves and gave us a moment of peace before the wedding festivities.
