HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We met through mutual friends. We went on our first date at the Phoenix Club Ball at Haven in Birmingham.
THE PROPOSAL
Weston proposed by way of a fortune cookie over dinner in Lakeview.
PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE
We completed premarital counseling with our pastor at Independent Presbyterian Church, and we attended some Sunday meetings of “Together for Life” at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood.
WEDDING MOMENTS
I was blown away by the hard work and creativity on behalf of the vendors. All of my expectations were exceeded! It was also very special to have Heidi’s daughter, Eleanor, as my flower girl, and l was so grateful to have Heidi there, too. It was so special to have her help me into my dress. Weston and I also loved our private moment, taking post-ceremony pictures during sunset by the West Lounge. Tasteful Tea Band put on an amazing performance during our reception. Overall, it was the dreamiest day with the best team and guests.
