Creation Station: Salt Painting

Swing by the Creation Station every Tuesday and Thursday in July to participate in a new, family-friendly arts and crafts project! On Tuesday, July 2–the first project of the month–trained artists will lead a workshop on how to create a painting with salt. All supplies will be provided. Learn more here.

Denim Upcycling

Cahaba Heights fashion designer Julie Maeseele will lead a workshop on turning your old denim items into trendy fashion statements! This workshop will feature a skirt-making demo. Summer Happiest Hour

Lane Parke

Back on the green in front of Lady Bird Taco and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Summer Happiest Hour will feature local pop-up shops sporting discounts and summer deals! Mountain Brook Market Day

Brought to patrons by the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce, Mountain Brook Market Day is the perfect summer shopping shindig. Shoppers can peruse vendors and may even get discounted deals for the day, too. The chamber will have a tent set up in the village, in which chamber staff will be doing a shopping giveaway! Purchasing Village Gold certificates is also a great way to get the most out of Mountain Brook Market Day. These gift certificates are strictly available for use at more than 70 Mountain Brook retailers, so by purchasing Village Gold, shoppers will be helping promote local businesses and keep tax dollars in Mountain Brook. Otey’s Fest

Benefiting The Phoenix Club, the 15th annual Otey’s Fest will take place on Saturday, July 27 at 6 p.m. in Crestline Village! Attendees will get to enjoy live musical performances by The Hurlers, Bouche, T.U.B. and The Negotiators. General admission is free, but attendees can purchase $100 VIP wristbands, giving them all-inclusive access to food, beverages and dedicated restrooms.
