Patriots Day Ceremony
Wednesday, Sept. 11 | 8:30-10 a.m.

The cities of Mountain Brook, Homewood and Vestavia Hills will host a joint ceremony to commemorate the sacrifices of our nation’s first responders on 9/11. This ceremony will take place at the intersection of Oak Street and Keely Court outside of Mountain Brook Fire Station 1 in Crestline Village.
Disc Golf Goes Pink
Saturday, Sept. 14 | 7:30 a.m.
Oliver Park and George W. Roy Recreational Park
Brought to patrons by the Mountain Brook-based nonprofit, Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama, Disc Golf Goes Pink will feature players competing on two different courses for a total of 36 holes throughout the day. Pooches on the Patio

Vino
To celebrate its 13th anniversary, Vino is hosting a “pawty” on the patio, and guests are welcome to bring their dogs! This event benefits the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, “GBHS,” which will have dogs available for adoption at this gathering. Notably, a portion of the event’s signature $8 drinks, the Pink Poodle and the Arnold Pawmer, will also benefit the GBHS. There will be a drawing for a $100 Vino gift card, too! Tapas and Taps

Benefiting Arc of Central Alabama, Tapas and Taps will feature a variety of restaurants with food and beverage samples for tasting. Local merchants will set up shop, offering an array of deals for event attendees. With live music, festive camaraderie and more, this event promises a night of fun for all.
