HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We met through mutual friends after I moved back to Fort Worth, and we were conveniently set up on a blind date. We hit it off and spent the whole week together after meeting, and well, here we are.
THE PROPOSAL
He proposed at Lake Lyndon B. Johnson in Austin, Texas, while we were both still in our PJs. It was just the two of us, and it was absolutely perfect. If he could commit to me with puffy eyes, crazy hair and no makeup, then I knew we could make it work.
PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE
We had been dating for more than five years and knew how to handle each other, the good and the bad. We were ready for the next chapter together and even decided to move in together a few months before the wedding.
WEDDING MOMENTS
Having a small, intimate wedding with our family and close friends on my family’s property was incredibly special. Being able to have both our families together all in one place is something we will forever cherish.
