1. Author Stephen Graham Jones: An Under the Mountain Event

Join the O’Neal Library for an evening with the award-winning author of The Only Good Indians and My Heart is a Chainsaw. Stephen Graham Jones has written nearly 30 novels short story collections, and comics. Born in Midland, Texas and residing now in Boulder where he teaches at their University of Colorado, along the way he has won the Texas Institute of Letters Award for Fiction, the LA Times Ray Bradbury Prize, the Mark Twain American Voice in Literature Award, the Independent Publishers Award for Multicultural Fiction, WLA’s Distinguished Achievement Award, ALA’s RUSA Award and Alex Award, three Bram Stoker Awards, two Shirley Jackson Awards, five This is Horror Awards, and he’s been a finalist for the World Fantasy Award and the British Fantasy Award. 2. Exceptional Foundation Chili Cook-Off

Jan Mattingly’s Dynamic Education will present a spectacular St. Patrick’s Day Science show with a grab and go dinner available immediately after the show.
4. Publix GreenWise Village 2 Village 10K

You can run through your favorite villages and neighborhoods with this year’s this annual run. This year the event is sponsored by Publix GreenWise Market, and it benefits the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce. Register at runsignup.com.
