1. Antiques at the Gardens

Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Antique dealers from across the country set up their wares at the gardens for quite the fair of antiques, furniture, porcelain, fine art, silver, garden accessories and jewelry. 2. Shop Save & Share

Shops Throughout Mountain Brook and Birmingham

We’re all about an excuse to shop for a good cause, and you can’t beat the Junior League of Birmingham’s Shop Save & Share fundraiser. A digital or printed Shop Save & Share card costs $40, and then you receive a 20 percent at more than 250 participating businesses—including many in Mountain Brook. You can purchase and download a card at ShopSaveandShare.net.

3. BOO-tastic Monster Bash

Friday, Oct. 22 | 5:30 p.m.
O’Neal Library Parking Lot

Join the Children’s Department at O’Neal Library for craft, games, snacks starting at 5:30 p.m. and then a monster movie at sunset around 6:30 pm. Don’t forget to dress up in your Halloween costumes! Plus find more library events here.

4. The Fall Edit

Lane Park Shops

Come out to hear live music from Southern Choice Band and check out local vendors, drinks, and more at this free, family-friendly event.

5. Trunk-or-Treat

Sunday, Oct. 24 | 4-6 p.m.
Mountain Brook Baptist Church

Wear your costumes and join us for an afternoon of treats. Trunks setup in the church’s lower parking lot will be handing out candy, along with food and other treats!

6. Mystics of Mountain Brook Parade

Sunday, Oct. 31 | 4 p.m.
Crestline Village

It’s tradition! Come out to the streets of Crestline for festive floats and candy throwing galore before starting your night of trick or treating. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.

Pink Up the Pace 5K, Fun Run & Virtual Challenge

Nov. 7
Crestline Field

Support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama’s breast cancer research by running in person for a 5K or 1-mile Dolly Dash fun run on Nov. 7 or participating in a virtual distance challenge Oct. 1-Nov. 6! All of the funds raised remain in Alabama, supporting local research, which in turn makes a national impact. Register at bcrfa.org.
