HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We met in 2019 at Struts in Jacksonville, Alabama. Grayson and I had mutual friends that were out that night, and he was sitting, eating alone. Me being myself went up to him and stole his food. It all started with a fry. Then, the rest was history. We have been together for five years now; he is truly my dream guy, and what I had always prayed for in a future partner.
THE PROPOSAL
After four years of being together, I was really pushing to get engaged. I knew I wanted to spend forever with him, and I just wanted it to happen right then. In May, Grayson told me weeks before that we were to attend a company function and needed to dress for the occasion. Little did I know he had the proposal of my dreams set up at my parents’ farm–our favorite place in the world.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
The wedding dress was something I have dreamed about since I was a little girl. My mom and grandmother got to attend this special day with me. I never really knew exactly what type of dress I would wear when we arrived at Bridal by Lori. It was the first dress we saw, and it had just arrived that day. The second I put the dress on and came out, we all knew it was the one.
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
We found the best wedding planner hands-down, Jackie Frontiero. She made the process so easy and took all the stress off us. Between working with Jackie, my mom and forming a team of excellent vendors, wedding planning went amazingly. A year of planning may seem like a long time, but with the right people, it will fly by. Make sure to enjoy every moment of it!
