Holiday Open Houses

English Village and Mountain Brook Village

The villages are hosting their annual holiday open houses in order to involve the community in supporting local businesses by shopping local and spreading festive cheer! Hosted by the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce, the holiday open houses will also feature trolley transportation around each village from 4:30-8:30 p.m. In addition, English Village is hosting a Poker Run from 5-7 p.m., including chances to meet Santa and win prizes. Samford University Legacy League’s Christmas Home Tour

Appointed Homes in Mountain Brook and Vestavia Hills

This Christmas home tour will feature Legacy League-appointed homes, which will be decorated festively, in Mountain Brook and Vestavia Hills, in order to raise money for scholarships for Samford students in significant financial need and difficult circumstances. Advance tickets are required and may be purchased at Legacy League Christmas Home Tour.

The 73rd Annual Holiday House Tour and Tea

Saturday, Dec. 10 | 1 p.m.
Independent Presbyterian Church

Join the friends of IPC for the annual, virtual holiday house tour and an in-person afternoon tea and tour of IPC. Standard ticket purchases include a link to this year’s virtual tour. Premium tickets sales include the link to this year’s virtual tour, including an in-person experience of IPC, afternoon tea and finger foods and a tour of IPC’s sanctuary and parlor. Why? Of Course! (The Jewish Course of Why)

The “Jewish Course of Why” is a course that aims to answer questions about Jewish customs and beliefs. This course invites all- Jewish and non-Jewish- to attend and learn about Jewish heritage and culture.
