3. Zoo Brews

The Birmingham Zoo
Calling all craft beer enthusiasts! The Birmingham Zoo is hosting breweries from all over Alabama and the Southeast for this signature tasting event. Attendees can sample their favorite beers while strolling around the zoo. Food truck vendors and the zoo’s Wild Burger restaurant will be open during this event, too. 4. Ousler’s Sandwiches Ribbon Cutting

Now open in Lane Parke, Ousler’s Sandwiches will be opening up to the public for its ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce. All are invited to attend.
5. Summer Garden Chefs
June 26-30 | 9 a.m.-noon
The Birmingham Botanical Gardens
This week-long kids’ summer camp is perfect for children ages 8-12 who want to learn about growing vegetables, cooking and tending to their very own gardens! Students will get to grow vegetables and herbs, paint aprons and create their own take-home kitchen gardens. Members’ fees are $180 per student, and nonmembers’ fees are $225 per student.
