Wild at Heart Gala

The Birmingham Zoo

Did you know that a group of rhinos is called a crash? Well, The Birmingham Zoo is proud to host its annual “Wild at Heart: Rhino Crash” costume gala, which benefits all its friends who call the zoo home. Guests are invited to attend in their best spots, scales and stripes, as dressing up is part of the fun! Attendees can also enjoy the musical delights of Yacht Rock Schooner, an open bar, dinner and a competitive zoo auction, too. General admission is $250 per person, but VIP access is $425 per person and includes up close, exclusive fun with the zoo’s animals. Only 50 VIP spots are available. Samford String Quartet Performance

Brought to you by the O’Neal Library, the Samford String Quartet is performing in the Community Meeting Room! The quartet belongs to Samford University’s School of the Arts’ Division of Music program. The group was founded in 2011 as a way to foster a love for the classics. Today, the members travel around the country and even throughout the world playing concerts for our enjoyment. Join the friends of O’Neal Library for this beautiful creation of melodies. Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Antiques at the Gardens features antique dealers nationwide! The vendors will have an array of furniture, fine metals, art, jewelry, garden wares and more. One unique aspect of this annual gathering is that architects, interior designers and landscape designers are also present and will show off their themed displays, too.
