The Proposal: The proposal is such a fun memory! Philip went all out to make sure it was so special. Philip had rented a beach house on the beach, and he and I (Katie) were sitting out on the porch that afternoon when he asked me to be his wife. Soon after he kept telling me we needed to shower and get dressed because we had dinner reservations. After getting dressed for dinner, we decided to take a walk on the beach to enjoy the moment. When we turned around and came back to the house, both of our families and all of our friends ran out on the beach to surprise us! We then had a big engagement party that night. It was such a special weekend that I will remember forever.
The Wedding Dress: Oh the wedding dress! It was the very first one I tried on. I saw it on Ivory & White’s Instagram and just knew I had to try it on. It was absolutely perfect. I am a very indecisive person, so my mother was freaking out since it was the first one I had tried on. But I knew it was the one!
Favorite Moment: Honestly, the whole day is my favorite! Due to COVID we had to change our wedding from May 16 to August 8. Those months leading up to August 8 were all very stressful, so once the day finally came, it was the absolute best and we were so excited to just be able to get married and celebrate with our families and friends. The day could not have been more perfect.
