HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
Zach and I met through an online dating app. I was apprehensive about this, but I had a handful of friends who had great success with this app. So, I thought I would try it out. Zach’s personality immediately stood out, and I knew from our first date that he was such a perfect match for me.
THE PROPOSAL
The weekend of my birthday, Zach had his mom and a few friends from Tampa come into town for a fun weekend of celebrations. Zach and I went out to dinner on a Saturday at one of our favorite restaurants, Dyron’s. After dinner, he said we were going to have cake with my parents, which was not abnormal for us since my parents live so close. As we got out of the car and walked toward my parents’ front yard, I turned around, and Zach was on one knee. It was so special that he proposed at the house I grew up in. All of our friends and family were there to celebrate.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
My wedding dress was not what I thought I would have ever picked. I must give props to Ivory and White for showing me some different options because the moment I put it on, I was in love. I loved how classic but different the fabric was. I also loved that after the ceremony, I was able to remove the wrap. It became nearly a new dress.
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
My advice would be to soak up the engagement and enjoy every moment. Planning can be so stressful, but it is all so worth it. It goes by so quickly! Bumps in the road will happen, but it will all work out perfectly.
