A Taste of Mountain Brook
Mountain Brook has so many wonderful eateries, so I’ve listed a few of my favorite meals from some of the best spots in town. Nothing beats a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich cooked by Ms. Vicky and a cherry Coke at Gilchrist. For lunch, a Ceasar salad from Craft’s with hot chicken bites is my go-to. For an afternoon snack or dessert, I am partial to a rocky road ice cream cone from Mountain Brook Creamery. Rounding out dinner, my favorite entree is a large, ham, pineapple, onion and mushroom pizza from Davenport’s Pizza Palace.

Jemison Park
I love visiting both Jemison Park and Shades Creek, catching fish and crawfish. It’s fun to try and spot alligator snapping turtles.

Community Night and The Holiday Parade
Community Night was a great experience. It was a fun night to meet the police and firefighters that serve our city so well. Huston loved dunking Officer Ro in the dunk tank. My family also looks forward to the Mountain Brook Holiday Parade each year.

Brad and I have been married for 16 years. Our first date was at Surin in Crestline. Every bit of crab angels is a reminder of that date!
